Yes, Jan, you can get a permit to import from the US dept. of Ag. free. You can make the application on line. It's simple (well if I can do it, it's simple) and it is good for 3 years. Then you just send a copy of the permit to the vendor who you are buying from, and they linclude that info in the mailing. Makes for a smooth transition.
