I have paid as low as $2.49 for them. The newer varieties are more expensive, but Sum and Substance, June and other oldies but goodies are very affordable. The co-op is lacking interest this year so I haven't been able to get any bargains. But, I did get many varieties over the years to add to my collection. And, my collection is well over 700 varieties! I would not have been able to build this collection of I'd paid retail prices for them all!
