I know the difference between the two words, but thank you for the definition anyway.
I was referring to the confusion it causes to some people who may not know the difference.

Example:
Doing a quick search on the internet I find Heavenly White Lightening spelled as

Heavenly White Lightning by such sites as Learn2Grow, Oak Hill Daylilies, Marietta Gardens, Free State Daylily Society, ctdaylily.com, etc.

and spelled correctly as Lightening by daylily.net, daylilies.org, northern lights daylilies, extremedaylilies.com, Gardens In the Works, Metropolitan Daylily Society, etc.
Sunset Zone 28, AHS Heat Zone 9, USDA zone 8b~"Leaf of Faith"
