My Kramer's Spinrad is a lone member now in the semp bed. I have to check on it once in awhile to make sure it is doing OK. I think it misses its only chick which went to Seattle to stay with gg5. I find this Sempervivum hybrid interesting because of what I consider its unique look. I like the strong wavy-like strong leaves and the tightness of the rosette. On my specimen, the red coloring inching up from the bottom is showy in its own way. The fuzziness/hairy attributes just add to the eye-catching look of the plant.

I purchased my specimen at Healdsburg Nursery. At the time they had a very tiny selection of semps. There was only one pot of Kramer's Spinrad and I snagged it. This spring it gave off only one offset and I cut it off and presented it to gg5. I hope his is doing OK in Seattle as I am keeping watch on the lone mother plant.
