I must apologize for being so late to answer your posts. My life is overly full with making pottery for a living, doing eldercare for my 98 yr. old mother and blah, blah, blah. I'm sure you're all busy too!
I just went out to the dogwood with my camera and took these photos. It looks like there are seedpods:

and a view of the tree - which bloomed fantastically this year, but is still a slender tree, despite its age.
