Those of us with histories of Deer are able to pass on wisdom with information we have about repellants and other accessories we have used to keep kritters off the plants.

I am experimenting with nets. "Bird Netting" 10 dollars for 14x14 feet. It can be cut to what ever size you want.
This works for me and my patches of lilies in 4 different gardens.
I learned its best to weave a tall lily stake thru the netting and put a cable tie at the top,then stick the stake in the ground.
I only have 2 or 3 deer and at this point I only guard the lilies while the buds are setting and getting ready to bloom.
I also have a back up with spraying repellants of all sorts.
