I picked up Marmalade Skies this year. I wanted to say it looked way more coral pink here. (Which is why it stood out to me.) I was shocked when I got home and looked it up to see if my impulse buy had a good rep and saw it listed as orange. I found this: http://www.rosefile.com/RosePa... "Comments: In the bright California sun the flower is really really orange, sometimes vermilion. In the northeast it's a softer shade of salmon or perhaps coral. The flowers are borne in ample numbers on a low, sprawling, healthy plant. It does sometimes cling to flowers longer than it should, and the petals bleach to an unsightly pink or white. The plant is quite vigorous and free of disease even in places where rose culture can be a little difficult - like Missouri."
After having it here in the pot and seeing the way the blooms fade, I actually almost returned it. I am still undecided on it!
So maybe skip that one if you want real orange.
