Sylvia - Thank you!
Perhaps you can offer to pay a neighbor or teenager to come help you build a pallet vertical garden. Or call one of those handyman services. All they need is a drill, a small electric saber saw, shovel, as well as a pencil, ruler, and preferably a short level to make sure the posts are perfectly lined up. I did all the hand sanding, the painting, made the tarp grow bags, added the soil, and planted the plants. As well as helped my hubby install it all. It took us a couple days to finish it, but now I will have it for a long time!
When you purchase the 4" x 4" posts, have the store pre-cut them for you to 6' each, if they don't already sell them in that length. I also shoveled some concrete into the post holes because of high winds here during hurricane season. But that may not be necessary for you.
If you attend a church, place a notice on their bulletin board asking for help. Or just put the word out there to family and friends. If you have family locally, tell them that is what you want for your birthday, Christmas, etc. LOL! You might be surprised to get help from who you least expected. It never hurts to ask ....
Good luck and again, thank you for kind response to my article!
