There are number of nice gardens in my neighborhood. This morning I took a number of pictures to share. Here are some of the gardens.....
A nice stand of corn.....
Winter Squash, Cabbage, and Corn
Tomato in a flimsy cage...
Harvested onions...
Tomatoes being grown between fence poles and supported by twine. I didn't like this idea.
Tomatilo being grown on a wire fence panel.

Tomatoes with fence poles and twine.
Tomatoes and tomatilo on wire fence panel. Notice the grass clippings between rows
Tomato supports made out of PVC...This works well but wouldn't be my choice.
PVC supports.
Tomato in another garden. I have no idea why it is planted with the container. Bottom must be cut out
Cucumbers on an A-frame in another garden...I've seen tomatoes and squash on this in previous years. Note brick path.
Tomatoes in cages....lovely plants but not to much fruit set yet. To much nitrogen?
Tomatoes and cukes. Note brick path. Also my little pick-up.
A raised bed with beets, carrots, and winter squash.
Squash blossom and banana squash.
Potatoes in another garden.
Potato blossoms
Tomatoes in another type of caging.
Spacious plantings in a well maintained yard.
Apricots at my son's just starting to ripen.

Tomato 'Steak House'. This is the first year I've grown it.
Tomato 'Steak House'. It was delicious. Very 'meaty' with nice flavor. I will grow it again.
