For those of us that garden with pets, there are all sorts of innovative ways to get around things.

My affliction is cats, fresh tilled and planted beds are suitable for them to dig in. I've not tried the tomato cages but use similar deterrents and it works. Once the plants are established there is less danger except for the dogs watering them. Haven't figured out the answer for that one yet.
