These plants have popped up alongside the southeast side of the house and I haven't a clue as to what they are. I thought I had planted seeds of Asclepias curassavica (Scarlet Milkweed) there but it's not that. There were about six plants growing but I yanked a few out and thew them away and there are still 3 remaining that I figured I'd leave until I can determine what it might be. A couple of them grew to 4 feet in height ... I don't know if they'll get taller if I leave them. Stems start out green at the bottom and are brown at the top of the plant and the stems leaves are rough and prickly feeling. I think I had the same plant pop up on the east side of the house behind my screened porch a year or so ago but I don't remember if I ever got an ID and I pulled it out. Without blooms, anyone have an idea of what these might be?
