I used to have a net for the pickup truck...it was made of the same stuff bungee cords are made of (got it supercheap and it only lasted for 2 years)...I wish I could find another one. It was so easy to stretch over any shape/size load and it had hooks on it like bungee cords so I could hook it to the truck bed rails with no problem.

When I haul loose leaves I use an old bedspread (perfect size for the S-10 bed) and I take along two metal fence posts, to weight it down front and back. Works like a charm. I don't drive on major highways with a load, so this works.

Yep, my truck is a worker too...there's always bungee cords and old carpets stashed behind the seats, plus garbage bags and work gloves!
I am not "country" I am "landed gentry."
