I do sell daylily seeds on eBay (and the Lilyauction) and I will gladly tell you that I get really aggravated at the seed sellers on eBay that list seeds that way. Either they, themselves don't know much about daylilies or they are counting on buyers not knowing enough daylilies to know that all seeds are hybrids and will not be replicates of the parents. I think it is misleading to the point of being dishonest. I think the reason they aren't called out on it is because it can take 2-3 years before the first seedlings bloom and by then, it's too late to raise a fuss. I feel so badly for the folks who spend money on daylily seeds thinking they are getting the plant in the photo used.
