) was growing next to some creeping phlox and the foliage is quite similar although clearly leaves are smaller. I was clearing around behind the phlox so I could transplant some iris there and almost without thinking pulled this little rustweed right up. Immediately regretted it! but too late. I'm going to keep my eyes open for more, but the lawn area isn't likely to have any (crabgrass clover and something else I should ID but which is not desireable. Has burrs for seeds.)
