That's the only way you can get a clone of a hybridized rose. That sounds like a simple statement, but when you stop and think about it, I think it's kind of amazing.

Think of it this way ... the rose Peace sold in the millions of plants and it all started with ONE seed. Every other of those millions of Peace roses were started with "branches" .. more commonly called "cuttings".

To get a viable cutting to grow on your first try is great !
