The invasiveness depends on your location, I guess. I bought one of these from a local nursery years ago and really loved it. It's a short-lived plant, however, and it lived only 3 or 4 years. During those years it produced many seedlings, but they never grew into trees. I'll buy another one if I ever see one for sale here.
