LOL Sherry, this may be your first MTB but I'll bet it will not be your last. MTB's were grown in every cottage garden and the class was commonly called 'table iris' because the long small stems and wide branching were perfect for cutting and putting in a vase. The blooms are smaller but so perfectly formed and still used widely today by florist. I do not cut and bring my blooms indoors but it is very nostalgic to have them in bloom in the garden. They also like to grow in big pots.
Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?
