Woofie, buy Acrylic patio paint found at all craft stores OR you can try any acrylic paint. Personally I use the FOLK ART brand because it is nice and thick. It is not patio paint but should still do fine.
I do seal everything small with a craft varnish by Delta Ceramcoat. For outdoor murals and designs, I use exterior paints and do not seal.
