The tumbleweed allium is an Allium schubertii. It's usually larger than the Blood Lily , has 2 tiers of flowers and is pink. The blood lily is deep red and more spherical.
Ornamental Onion (Allium schubertii)
A. schubrttii, planted in the ground, occasionally comes back for me depending on how cold the winter was. My Blood lily (Scadoxus multiflorus) is grown in a pot overwintered dry in the basement.
African Blood Lily (Scadoxus multiflorus)
Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.
