can I root salvia in mid September if our first frost is usually in november?
How do I root it and will it have time to get to growing enough to over winter
in zone 8 ?

Does Blue Ensign salvia make enough from the base of the plant in roots
to be able to divide it the next spring after it is has been in the flower bed
for one season here?

any ideas?
I would like to get 2 plants off these that I have to add more to the flower garden for next spring?

thanks
