Name: Pat
Near McIntosh, Florida (Zone 9a)
After I posted this, I asked myself why on earth did I? ---
... I do have dormants growing here for some years now in McIntosh-Orange Lake area;
like FRANS HALS and I don't know names of the others.

To prove how really ignorant I was, I even covered these poor dormants when a freeze was predicted.
(Back then daylilies were just "plants" and when it freezes in this area, "plants" get covered.)

I was looking at WOMEN SEEKING MEN which is a semi evergreen.
CHEW MAIL POUCH TOBACCO is fascinating, but dormant and too expensive to play with.

I like C. Hanson's crosses, so may venture to try a few semis.
(And no, I won't cover them up this Winter.)
