Dear Tarev,

I think I must have pretty much the same camera. I don't think I have DSLR either (I just googled that and got this Wikipedia page for the folks who may have it and not know what it is or how to use it... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D...). Now I have to see if I can find this foliage mode. Is that sort of the equivalent of the tulip on the ring dial on the other cameras? Or does this one also have a tulip?

Sorry to be so stupid -- you do seem to be a bit ahead of me, though. Truly, it's only since I got a tripod, which is since I discovered semps and ATP that I've been anything other than a very occasional camera user... Thank You! MR
