The reason I thought maybe a name change is because I have seen it done with Hostas. I do not know if all the plant world operate under the same craziness of Hostas.
I will keep an eye on the Lowes markdown. Since the yellow was never part of their stock maybe they will get this plant. I got some Hydrangea's last year that was not part of their stock, I know how they got those they were from a local farm that did not sale during the summer. So I think they are getting other plants from suppliers that do not sale. Lowes is probably picking them up at an extremely markdown price so they use them for their fire sale area.
