They are my favorites too!
I don't know a lot about luminatas but I believe the pattern is a recessive trait passed on by both parents. Since Let's Boogie has no luminata parents or children I think it's just a pattern that is light in the center...but not genetically a luminata. Maybe someone with more knowledge and experience could add more or correct this if it is not accurate.
