Hi Purple, every Spring the bulbs produce lots of lush foliage but no blooms. Last year we had a bad ice storm and cold snap so the foliage looked kind of rough this past Spring.

Betsy those are so beautiful, I'm green with envy. After 11 years I'd probably lose patience with them LOL. Purple I saw the picture you posted of the lycoris in your mom's yard, that's another stunning display. I saw more around town blooming in full shade in someone's yard by their front door.
