This plant belongs to my husband. He's had it for about 10 years. He's a fan of these caudiciform succulents. This photo is of the plant flowering maybe the 2nd time in 10 years. Hubby used to water his plants regularly each week and it never bloomed for him. His art supplies started taking up more space in the studio so all his plants of the caudiciform type (what I call the "P's and U's " for Primitives and Uglies) had to be moved outside full time. As a result we lost the Dioscorea (my bad) but the Fockeas and this Trichodiadema survived. It seems the decreased watering and dry conditions against the house may have been better for this little plant. I'm amazed at the intensity of the flower's pink that this little plant puts out.
