Sometimes when I get an order of daylilies that I don't have time to plant they get put in a bucket with some water over the roots but not covering the crown. They will be ok for weeks just be sure to change the water every day or two if your weather is getting close to freezing I would set them in a garage overnite until the daytime temperature has warmed up.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!
Faith is the postage stamp on our prayers!
