I also liked some of those Mador's iris on the French site.
I would love to mix some new stock with my sturdy old Fabians. Many iris are becoming too similar to what has already been done. Imagine mixing old classics with outlandish blue beards and Space Age characteristics.
Remember, hybridizing keeps you healthy. Ya gotta hang in there to see that new bloom!
