Greg Goff spoke at our club meeting yesterday, he is the new owner/operator of Le Petit Jardin. He seemed so excited about Daylilies after being in the commercial side of perennials. Ted Petit will still be hybrizing his beautiful creations. The price includes the cost of time and resources to produce a seedling, grow it to the point of introduction and sale. In most cases it can take as much as 7 years from cross to intro. Granted FL has a shorter time frame but still the other related costs. I still limit what I pay for a daylily (most of the time). Sighing!
