i've been planting my strictly indoor epiphytes in similar mix, with may be just a little less bark (21% of the mix, with rest equally divided between peat/coir peat and perlite) - since i have to wick them to supply water when i am away for long periods of time.
but i am always very curious what people do in florida in mostly outdoors conditions.
i just spotted an interesting wall-mount of A. clarinervium in one of my pics: had to enlarge a lot to see it.
it's in the botanical garden conservatory. seems that it's growing sideways in a frame, attached perhaps with chicken wire? and coir fiber webbing like they use for wire baskets.
