My Orange-Barred Sulphur decided to make its sling this morning. I took some pictures to show you how the caterpillar colors fade as they begin to make their chrysalis.

For reference, here is what the caterpillar looked like when I found him on Nov. 2.

Now, I took this picture this morning and you can see the blue is faded from the caterpillar. The yellow also tends to look "glowy" or neon to me but it's hard to capture on camera.

Then, I came home from my doctor appointment (regular check-up, no worries) and the caterpillar was in its sling. You can see how the blue has faded even further.
