I came across this ghostly beauty in the Sacramento Historic Cemetery. Seems an appropriate place for this color variant of this female European Mantis (Mantis religiosa). I've green, tan and an unusual one in an earlier post, but this was a new color to me. Seems like it would be snatch up quickly by predators? The gardens here don't use insecticides so they are a healthy habitat for all the critters.
