I have an iris that is planted under shrubs. Nothing blocks it's growth, soil wasn't the best so I had fertilized it and added organic soil around it. I've kept it watered well so it's not dry but not soaked. The green leaves grew to about a foot and stopped growing. I see the tuber sticking out above ground so I know nothing is stopping it from growing taller. Is there anything that will fix this?
