Temps went way lower than forecast! 16 this morning, then this afternoon we had quite the earthquake! Some reports say 5.3, other say 4.8. The epicenter was about 30 miles from me. The whole house shook for a good 30 seconds. My dogs were right next to me, and they went on alert a full 10 seconds before I felt anything. The strangest part was the incredible noise! It roared and grumbled almost like a tornado--the "locomotive" sound. Strange day
