That was when Ruth and Hugh were transitioning from their farm to a senior's apartment complex(6 years ago?). Volunteers from the Friends School in St. Paul, MN went to the farm and dug many of their hybrids that were left over after previous lily aficionados had retrieved their desires. They then sold them at their annual plant sale where I purchased it. No longer available, that I know of, unless someone in our local lily society is still growing it.

It seems I have seen, at least by claim and photo, a variegated leaf lily for sale in one of the more common catalogs, more trustworthy that a "Michigan Bulb company", but not as reliable as a "Lily Nook". Didn't give it a second thought as it looked very gaudy to me, as most double flowering lilies do also. But, that's just me. Whistling
