I've had one or two albino cotyledons emerge from Lilium regale var. album, but of course they simply die, unable to photosynthesize.

Never imagined a variegated lily was possible. On the other hand, I was surprised in the vege patch last year by a rather spiffy variegated parsnip. Too pretty to eat, it was. Hilarious!
