I have not ordered it so I do not know if they have care instructions but CVS sell all kinds of container and little plants and there are detail care instructions in the box.

When I said rooting bulb I was saying the glass bulb itself that you would put water in and lay cuttings like philodendron, ivy in they hang down from the glass bulb and you could hang it in the window.

As novelty gifts go at Christmas time I do not think of it as a very bad gift so much because it is the thought. Many older people do not have a traditional tree and just hang different colored Christmas tree bulbs on a tree rack.

I am trying to say sometime we have to step out of the box that we all celebrate, decorate the same for Christmas. I have worked with Senior homes and Holidays there are some that were past gardeners and love to see a living plant in their room.

If it was my last days and not a lot of years left to live would I enjoy a living plant hanging in my room? Yes it would be a great present for me. Depending on what side of leaving this earth I might be the plant would probably out live me.
