Leon, I love reading your blogs and seeing the pictures. Winter seems to have arrived early this year for you as well. So much for global warming! Joe Bastardi, a Fox weather guy, said last year that from what he can see, from looking at different weather patterns we are headed into a period of cooler weather for some time. It looks like he knew what he was talking about, but Eeeekkk! I probably won't plant Cantalope or Watermelon next year because they are pretty iffy in our short season anyway and the last couple of years it's been to cool to develop good flavor anyway. Well the seed catalogs are starting to come already so I guess we'll have more time to look at them and dream for next year. Smiling
