I have a few of these (African Queen & Congo Cockatoo) and have very good success rooting cuttings in just plain water Any time I have tried to give them any kind of media to root in, the cuttings wither and die promptly. Rooting hormone in particular seems to ensure certain failure. Anyway, I have heard that they propagate easily by seed but I've never observed any seeds. They all bloom like crazy. Does anyone have experience with collecting seeds from these plants?
