Yes, that is usually the challege ~ The tape will hold up, but the writing is another story, that's why I try to use pencil in hopes that it won't fade away like many pens will. I know there are some permanent pens that are supposed to hold up. I need to look into that!
One thing I like about the freezer tape is that it doesn't lose its sticky; even when wet.
