It sure gets confusing when I try to do research on the web. I'm wondering if these are all the same plant:

Meyer Lemon (Citrus x limon 'Meyer')
Meyer Lemon (Citrus x limon 'Improved Meyer')

I haven't been able to find any information about cultivars, just common names listed with quotes as "Meyers Lemon" and "Improved Meyers Lemon".

The Floridata website states that the original Meyer Lemon trees were found to carry a virus that killed most other citrus trees so the Meyers were all destroyed and replaced with a virus free variety called Improved Meyer Lemon. Wickipedia also has a similar statement.

Confused The Royal Horticultural Society website shows the name as Citrus x limon 'Meyer' with Citrus meyeri 'Meyer' being a synonym: https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/...

The Catalogue of Life (Nov. 2014) shows Citrus meyeri being a synonym for Citrus limon

*Blush* I probably shouldn't google so much because I get more and more confused. Green Grin!
