I feed them all winter with a 25-5-10 liquid fertilizer or something similar, I spray them once a week as a foliage feed. I mix it 8oz to 15 gal.

The mini blinds are the most reliable and economical thing I have come up with if you write on them with something that the sun will not fade. Glen is correct about a #2 graphite, the writing will stay on the blinds many years. When ever I want to write a seedling cross and the stats on a blind, I use a #2 pencil, anything else is to large. When I first plant the seedlings they only have a # so I use a black Painters Pen. Both the #2 pencil and Painters Pen can be found at Wal-Mart. I use the metal markers with Brothers P Touch Labels for all registered plants. White with black letters last forever.
