I've looked around in the past and concluded H. carnosa was the most likely. However, I was never sure so it just remains 'Hoya'. Yeah, the leaves on the main plant which stays outside as soon as the weather permits always have a burnt look to them. But they also are a paler green than the cutting growing inside. It likes to eat and I make a point to feed it well and often, but the leaves never get beautiful and dark green like the one inside. The silver flecking is very variable. From none to a little to a lot. The cutting grows back away from the windows, so it gets a lot of light but not much directly on it. It's gradually taking over a wall with cup hooks to support it. It's weird to compare the leaves from the two plants. They really look different. No weathering to be found on the inside plants' leaves. They are just so perfect. It hasn't bothered with blooming yet. It may never in the current situation. I don't know. I forget about being there a lot of the time, so it does get a reasonable share of abuse.
