'Annei' rubra is a C. glauca hybrid that can trace it's ancestry to France & the late 1800's .. the 'rubra' in it's name is reference to the 'red/burgundy' tones in the foliage & stems not the flowers. There is also an 'Annei' with red flowers, but has another name again!
Drooling and I have recently found it on an old property in Qld .. more news, later! (no pics yet, sorry)
