Hi Beverly -- welcome to ATP !

Bees need flowers... they work over annual flowers, perennial flowers, flowers in trees, even things that we hardly think of as "flowers," like the small asparagus flowers. The more you can provide, for as much of the year as possible and in the greatest variety possible, the better. They need nectar, they need pollen, and they will go where they can find those things. (Plus, of course, all those flowers will make your yard look nice!) I rarely see honeybees in my yard and garden, but we have lots of bumblebees and ground bees that are happy to do the pollinating chores around here. Smiling
