Beautiful start to the new year, Ursula, and a happy new year to all of my orchids friends. I see Ken's beloved football team didn't fair very well in last night's game but a trip to Fairchild Gardens should lift his spirits. It is absurdly cold here this morning so I have found a south facing window and am curled up with the dog on the floor. One does what one must do.

Very nice form and colors on 'Summit', it's a beauty. Being a Schombo man, I love the superbiens. How long are the spikes? Nice Gongora. I wonder if mine is spiking?
