@Moonhowl - I am looking at those photos trying to find a similarity. I wish I could ask the horticulturist I bought it from, unfortunately he and his wife passed away recently. He imported exotic pines and deciduous trees from all over the world to Australia to revegetate after the Snowy Scheme was built. He had some amazing specimens and this was one of them. It could be a hybrid strobus - I will get more info.
I noticed when I added some of my pines to my plant list,
@frankrichards16 had added some of the rarer cultivars I have.
