Biljax, I use 10-10-10, and have VERY productive banana trees, I use about a coffee can full, spread around 4 trees every month and a half. I think the secret is a lot of fertilizer and plenty of water, I soak those trees for at least 20 minutes once or twice a week depending on if it rains or not. I tried reading that article, but for whatever reason I can't get it to load right.
