well, as most of you know, I tend to be a little high strung, although I'm not really mad at anyone thats how it seems to come across from time to time. I'm just venting my frustrations. I was just sitting here this morning thinking about this latest cold snap and wondering when is all this going to end??
this is the worst winter in 35 years around this area. I've got anything from plumbagoes to night blooming jasmine that I re-planted last year because it all froze, and now it looks like I'm going to have to do it all over again this year. Its tireing to buy the same stuff every year. Take the plants in for 3 or4 days, take them back out for 3 or 4 days, over and over again.
sometimes I wish I just owned a condo with no yard. Even playing golf, which used to be 2 or 3 times a week, is now maybe once a week because its too blamed cold. The golf courses are all brown and the greens don't have any grass on them. Its like putting on your kitchen floor, its so hard and dry. I just feel like I'm wasting time sitting here, but what else can you do? I've got maple trees starting to bud, azaleas blooming, some robins flew through here last week, all the signs of spring, the full moon this month is on a warm day which is supposed to be a sign of early spring, or no more frost, and everything is cooperating EXCEPT the weather. No use buying anymore plants right now because I've got no place to put them, unless I start filling up the bathrooms....not a good time for an outside kind of person.
