I never saw this group on Cubits.org. I am so happy to see someone else who enjoys the beauty of these lovely plants. I can see the move will no doubt bring us all together, which is great.

I began growing daffodils years ago when I lived in a very cute little place I called "Laurel Run Bird Farm" I had about two acres , with lots of trees and bred exotic birds. I had a small garden and oh so many deer. They ate every thing I planted until I realized they did not eat the daffodils. So, I planted daffodils by the hundreds. When I retired from breeding birds, I sold my farm and moved to a larger farm that had very few trees and not as many deer. I missed my daffodils so I began to collect them and after six years I have ten big rows in the field of all sorts of hybrids and naturalizers.
I sell them wholesale to a farmers market in bunches. They have more than paid for themselves and each year I am able to add another three or four hundred bulbs.
